2017 is the 50^th year of the Israeli control over the daily lives of millions of Palestinians in the occupied territories. Five decades of oppression, dispossession and trampling of human rights – sanctioned by law and backed by all government systems.

From its inception in 1988, HaMoked has been striving to safeguard the rights of Palestinians living under Israeli occupation, and seeking the enforcement of international law standards. HaMoked’s activities expanded with the occupation’s continuation and transformation into a complex bureaucratic system aimed at self-perpetuation.

2017 היא השנה ה-50 לשליטה הישראלית על חיי היומיום של מיליוני פלסטינים בשטחים הכבושים. חמישה עשורים של דיכוי, נישול ורמיסת זכויות אדם – בחסות החוק ובגיבוי כל המערכות השלטוניות.

למן הקמתו בשנת 1988 עומד המוקד להגנת הפרט על משמר זכויותיהם של פלסטינים תחת הכיבוש הישראלי ופועל לאכיפה של הסטנדרטים המעוגנים במשפט הבינלאומי. פעילותו של המוקד הלכה והתרחבה עם הימשכו של הכיבוש והפיכתו למערכת בירוקרטית מסועפת, שתכליתה הנצחת המצב הקיים.
